When I got married, I made Swarovski crystal earrings for all my bridesmaids. I put these in the monogrammed velvet cases from Pottery barn with some soaps and French macaroons that I made. They all loved their gifts (or at least they told me they did!)

I couldn’t agree more about your gifting advice… I try to stay open-minded, but do cringe a little when I see wedding party gifts monogrammed with “Bridesmaid” or “Maid” – not that those are bad, it’s just not personal at all. One of the best gifts I received for being in a wedding was a pretty necklace (picked out specially for me) and every time I wear it, I remember the wedding in all it’s glory.
