Wedding Dress Wednesday :: Spaghetti Straps
Strapless seems to be all the rage. But if a strapless dress is not for you, try a spaghetti strap. In general, straps help show off a little décolletage while being mindful of the girls. In this week’s Wedding Dress Wednesday collection, I found six dresses with uber thin straps that meet fashionable form and function.

Whisp It: The criss-cross wrap adds some dimension and interest to this simple yet refined gown. A band of chiffon wraps at the smallest part of the waists which will flatter all body types. Bias cut fabric drapes beautifully over the body allow the fabric to freely flow into a mermaid-like skirt. (Jenny Yoo; $725)
Lace Over: The devore technique is used on the satin to create a repeated floral pattern. The satin gathers at the empire waist which connects to a glittery band of beads. The split front creates depth to the dress without adding any heavy layers of fabric. (Galina; $300)
Lean Lustrous : The Italian silk satin wraps the bodice and torso with folded pleats. The duel straps mimic the v-neckline. A fit and flare skirt highlights the bodies curves while still allowing for movement. (Simone Carvalli; $1500-3000)

Dream Machine: The cinched flowers are nestled together with layers of organza create this dreamy dress. The organza overlay sweeps down the curve creating modified trumpet silhouette. (Demetrios; $500-1000)
Crystal Light: Light embroidery and rhinestones dot the bodice, while a heavily adorned waist sparkles with crystals and beading. The organza overlay adds lightness to this ballgown silhouette. (Jewel; $2650)
Bringing Spaghetti Back: A crossover bodice ruched with chiffon is paired with sweetheart neckline. Delicate beading lines the empire waistline. An asymmetrical faux wrap is gathered to add a rippling effect. (Mon Cheri; $500)

Jenny Yoo’s design style is ever-so fabulous. I would wear that dress over and over again.
