Angie and Bretzky decided to bypass the financial burden of having a huge and expansive wedding and just get hitched. Plain and simple. With a new arrival on the way, Angie did not have time to worry about the details. Enter ::Luxe Affairs:: Having a wedding coordinator kept the couple on target for their budget and gave guidance to couple during the fast paced three week planning period. The result? A wedding that was uniquely theirs and right on budget.

Location: Miami, Florida (backyard)
Colors: Goldenrod, Cobalt and Ivory
Theme: Spanish Rustic with touches of vintage
Budget: $2000

Two tiered cake bedecked with navy ribbon held down the candy bar. Apothecary jars filled with ivory sweets gave guests a boost of sugar for the dancing to come. {Sweet Cakes}. Sweeping goldenrod linens dolled up the sweet station {Hitched event Rentals}.

Focus on what is important to you and your partner. Surround yourselves with the ones you love and the day couldn’t be more happier.

Smooch! A silk strapless silhouette from {David’s Bridal} stretched the dollar to areas of greater importance.

DIY Details

Fino Wino: Customize your wine bottles with wine labels (a la Wedding Chicks).

Rock, Paper, Scissors: Patches of moss and rocks flanked the guest book and escort card station. Warm amber tea lights flickered throughout the night.

Paper Products: Off white paper pom poms and lanterns were strung on the trees surrounding

Top Cake: A quick ship (4 days!) for customized {Naked Peggies} adorned the top of the wedded confection.

Bucket of Brews: Rustic copper tin of beverages chilling before the ceremony.

Posh pintuck linens in cobalt blue from {Hitched event Rentals} dazzle the dining area. Chivari chairs were in the budget due to the small guest list. In addition, chivaris in black tends to be the most affordable color.

Clean Cloak: Minimal ivory fabric draping around the tent created a more intimate and finished space. It also hides the hideous metal pipes.

Bright Light: A rustic chandelier added a classy addition to the outdoor space. Bringing elements from the indoors to the outside space helps elevates the space by adding warmth.

Duel Dresses: A quick change from the structured silky strapless dress into a flowy one-shouldered goddess gown will helped the bride get ready for a easy, breezy celebration mode. Angie was able to find a bargain at Macy’s. What a great shopper!

Remember to savor the moments with your love. The day will melt away as quickly as it came, so taking a few alone will help keep you two conscious of the moment so it doesn’t disappear.

Wedding Details :: Pink, Orange and Lime

Jess and Sam are getting married! Their color scheme will be pink, orange with hints to lime. They plan on having a fun and youthful early afternoon outdoor celebration held in a nearby park. They need a little inspiration for the reception and clothing. Luckily, the bride has been saving pictures of her dream ceremony for a while. Thus, the ceremony has already been decided. They requested an unpretentious design with clean lines. Nothing about this board says boring or mundane. This is a going to be a festive fete with a focus on the little details.

Colors: pink, orange and pops of lime
Theme: youthful, modern and fun

Does the rock candy bring you back to your childhood? How about the giant balloons? To create a “ceiling” for the outdoor space, adding balloons will help make an outdoor space feel more intimate. The personalized soda labels are a great way to add a peronal touch to a favor. This can also serve as a escort card. These options are a fresh way to bring back elements of your childhood without making it look like a birthday party.

Celebrations :: 1st Birthday

I gasped when I saw this golf inspired 1st birthday soiree from Details Details Blog. The pinks and oranges just pop and the balloon backdrop was beyond amazing. Being half Korean, I understand the 1st birthday is HUGE in Korean culture. This party is nothing short of that statement. Seeing this party makes me so excited to celebrate my future child’s 1st birthday. Whoa, turbo. Did I really just type that?! Reality Check: I am not pregnant and won’t start trying for another 2 years. Geez. At least I can dream.

1) High Flyin’: Custom paper flags and argyle pillows flank the photo table. The flags imitate the golf flags found on a the course.

2) Grab Bag: Baby Chloe is sitting on a foam tile surface made by Skip Hop.This versatile and child friendly flooring option can be used after the party, in the playroom. Notice the items placed in front of the birthday girl. It is Korean Tradition to place specific items as it symbolizes the future of the child based on the object she grabs. In front of the Chloe, (from left to right): money – wealth; golf ball – success in sports (maybe take after her parents); some fabric – longevity; a bowl of rice – prosperity and a book – a scholarly life.

3) Hats Off: Using your family’s skills is one way to cut the budget (even though this bash did not seem to have a budget). Chloe’s uncle designed the visors and matching invitations. Repetition is key to holding a theme throughout an event. Using the same design throughout ties everything together.

4) Bonkers for Balloons: This balloon background is jaw-dropping. It really adds so much to the table. Balloons are often forgotten and labeled as a cheap trick, but for children birthday parties it is absolutely perfect.

5) Fabulous Foursome: Matching polos and visors in the party’s color scheme is almost too much, but this gorgeous family pulls it off very nicely. It also makes fora great photo opportunity they won’t soon forget.

6) Invitational Only: As mentioned above, this is another creation by the Uncle. Using a play on words such as par-tee and invitational

7) 18th Hole: At the last hole, party favors were features. Favor labels were created using the argyle pattern and the golf club design.
